Norwegian procurement consortiums
The Bokbasen lending plattform has full support for the Norwegian model where most libraries are linked to a procurement consortium. The system handles this by linking each library to its consortium and allowing them to login to the administration GUI as a separate user and administer their budget in the same interface as a library. A library will automatically be given access to licenses bought by a consortium and can see the budget of the consortium (but not change it).
In the integration this is noticeable when you execute a POST /loan/licenses to get all licenses available on a book for one or more organisations. If you request licenses on a library that is linked to a consortium, you can get license from both organisations or just one, depending on availability.
Consortium IDs are created by Bokbasen as they do not have an official ID as libraries do. Here is a list of the current consortiums and their IDs that you can get in the APIs.
