Use metadataPrefix = marcxchange to get properly formatted marcexchange XML.
NORMARC
Use metadataPrefix = marcxchange2 to get properly formatted marcexchange XML. You can also use metadataPrefix = marcxchange, then records will be returned with <collection> element on each record. The former is preffered, but as some vendors have been doing testing on the latter, we are keeping both versions.
Internal Koha ID delivered in *999$a
Koha (which is the platform for the SRU and OAI-PMH server) adds its internal ID to *999$a. We recommend not using this as this is just internal for the application, and we cannot guarantee that this is the same across NORMARC and MARC21. In future releases we will look into removing the element.
As specified, use the ID provided in *015$a as a unique reference for the post.
